Maths Tuition
Maths tuition, as with English tuition, is one of the most sought after subjects when parents are considering tutoring for their child. KS1 tutors
Our KS1 tutors will work with your child to ensure mental fluency with whole numbers, counting and place value. Towards the end of this key stage, your child should know the number bonds to 20. Our tutors will ensure that these foundations are in place so that your child will feel confident with their National Maths test.
KS2 tutors
KS2: Your child will be required to sit a multiplication tables check at the beginning of this key stage. Our KS2 tutors will focus on this area before moving on to prepare your child for the National SAT test at the end of the key stage. The SAT assessment is particularly important as it will be used at secondary school to set targets and inform teaching groups. GCSE Maths Tutors
At KS3, your child will be taught the skills, knowledge and application needed to prepare them for their GCSE Maths exams at KS4. Our Maths tutors will work with your child to extend their understanding of the number system, including decimals, fractions, powers and roots. They will help to develop your child’s ability to problem solve, using their developing mathematical ability to answer questions accurately. Although we no longer have KS3 SATs assessments, our specialist tutors will continually assess against KS4 benchmark criteria to help your child to be ahead of the game at KS4.We have Maths GCSE tutors who can also tutor your child for GCSE Further Maths, GCSE Economics and GCSE Statistics.
Physics and MathsTutors
Our GCSE Maths tutors will work with students to build on their existing knowledge while identifying the gaps that need particular attention. Students will be taught in a tailored way that will help them to be ‘exam ready.’ Our Maths specialist tutors will work to the requirements for each exam board and will use past papers and mock exams to ensure exam success. We have specialist Physics and Maths tutors who will tailor your child’s teaching of Maths to also improve the Maths skills needed for their Physics GCSE exam.
A Level Maths Tutors
The transition from GCSE maths to A level Maths can be difficult for some students. Our A level tutors will focus on the additional skills that are needed for A Level, while preparing students for the further academic study methods needed for university. Our A Level Maths tutors will work with students to help them achieve top grades, allowing them to attend the university of their choice. As well as tutoring for Mathematics, we have tutors who teach A Level Further Maths, A Level Statistics, and A Level Economics.
